During
2008 the English Golf Union (EGU) have, in conjunction with and with the
full support of the CONGU Licensed Handicap Software suppliers, been
developing the new EGU CENTRAL DATABASE OF HANDICAPS (CDH).
We
are now launching the CDH to clubs across the country.
CDH
- FUNCTIONALITY FOR ALL. It
is hoped that the CDH will bring benefits for clubs and their members,
counties and at national level, by reducing administration time for
administrators and handicap committees alike, plus further improve the
integrity of the Unified Handicap System.
Clubs
Access to playing
records of all their club members in order to interrogate if required Access
to limited details of all golfers from outside their club in order to
verify handicaps when hosting an Open competitions etc. Automatic
reporting of away scores Active
/ Inactive handicap interrogation No
requirement to produce and send year end reports to EGU & County
