SENIOR MEN’S STABLEFORD GREENSOMES TEAM KNOCKOUT

The competition is open to men who have reached the age of 55 by 1 January in the year of competition. The maximum permitted handicap is 24 (playoff).

There are four pairs  per team playing aggregate stableford greensomes. Two pairs play at home and two pairs play away. The stroke allowance is as per CONGU recommendations – lower handicap x 0.6 plus higher handicap x 0.4.

There are three Areas with the Area winners meeting in the National Final.

Men’s Greensomes – Team Knock Out

Four Mixed Pairs playing 18 holes Greensomes Stableford

A club team will comprise four mixed pairs. All pairs to play 18 holes Greensomes Stableford.  Two pairs will play at home and two pairs will play away and the team score is the aggregate of the home and away points. Whilst it is normally expected that the match will be arranged to be played at both venues on the same day, matches may be played on different days and tee times may vary at each venue.

BOURNE-VANNECK SHIELD AND CUP  

Men’s Club Team Championship

The competition is open to teams of three male golfers with a maximum handicap of 20. (Not playoff)

At each Regional qualifying competition the team with the lowest aggregate gross score and the team with the lowest aggregate nett scores will qualify to play in the National Finals. All four scores count.

At the National Finals the teams with the lowest aggregate gross and nett scores will be awarded the B-V Cup and B-V Shield respectively to hold for one year.

The winners of the B-V Cup will represent the NAPGC in the England Golf Champion of Champions competition.

 

JHB SHIELD & CUP

 

LADIES CLUB TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

The competition is open to teams of three lady golfers, maximum handicaps 30.

At each Regional qualifying competition the team with the lowest aggregate gross score and the team with the lowest aggregate nett score will qualify to play in the National Finals.

At the National Finals the teams with the lowest aggregate gross and nett scores will be awarded the JHB Cup and JHB Shield respectively to hold for one year.
